How We Work

A process built for visibility, not surprises.

Every engagement follows the same structure, from initial contact through to post-deployment support — so you always know what's happening and what happens next.

Process

01

Discovery

We discuss your current process, challenges, goals, users, and expected outcomes. You receive documented discovery findings and identified objectives.

02

Proposal

We present project scope, deliverables, timeline, pricing, and terms. You receive a full proposal to review and approve.

03

Development

The approved solution is designed and developed against agreed requirements. You receive working software and regular progress updates.

04

Deployment

The approved solution is deployed to your production environment. You receive a production-ready application in the agreed environment.

05

Support

Post-deployment support, maintenance, and issue resolution continue based on the agreed support arrangement.

Ownership

IP ownership is agreed per project and defined in the engagement terms.

NDA

A mutual NDA can be provided at no additional cost before commercially sensitive information is shared.

Security

  • Authentication and role-based access control
  • Password hashing
  • JWT-based authentication
  • HTTPS for deployed applications
  • Secure handling of credentials and configuration

Support

A limited warranty covers defects in the delivered solution, as defined in the project agreement. Ongoing support, maintenance, monitoring and further development can be structured as a retainer where appropriate.

Principles

We build systems, not interfaces.

Most agencies optimise for how a product looks in a deck. We optimise for how it behaves under load, scales over time, and survives real-world use. Performance and maintainability are decided in week one.

Speed matters. Clarity matters more.

Fast execution is worthless if the codebase becomes unmaintainable. Clean workflows, documented decisions, and structured development mean your product is still legible to a new engineer two years after launch.

Communication is part of the product.

Clients should never need to ask "what is happening right now?" Clear updates, transparent timelines, and honest technical discussions are not project management overhead — they are engineering responsibility.

We treat your product like infrastructure.

Good software feels invisible. Reliable systems are not loud — they simply work, every day, without operational stress. That philosophy quietly informs every architectural decision we make on your behalf.

Stack

Not every process needs AI. We use AI where judgment or unstructured information makes traditional automation insufficient.

Problem typeRight approachWhy
Rule-based decisions (fixed thresholds, approval criteria)AutomationDeterministic logic — no ambiguity, nothing to learn
Systems that don't talk to each otherIntegrationThey need a connection, not intelligence
Deterministic calculations or formulasSoftwarePure logic, fully testable, no model required

Frontend

React + TypeScript

Shared UI layer across every client-facing product

Backend

Node.js (Express), Python (FastAPI)

FastAPI for inference-heavy AI services, Express for everything else

Data

PostgreSQL, pgvector

One database engine, extended with pgvector for embeddings and search

AI and ML

OpenAI, Anthropic APIs

Model-agnostic integration, chosen per task rather than locked to one vendor

Infrastructure

AWS, Docker, GitHub Actions

Containerized deploys with automated CI/CD on every push

Integration

REST APIs, webhooks

Standard interfaces for connecting to a client's existing systems
